posted in: Safety, Workshops | 0

Friends, peers and colleagues joined us on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Yolo County Fairgrounds in Woodland, CA for CWEA’s 32nd Annual Northern Safety Day. Attendees explored this year’s theme: “We Can All Live With Safety” and gained certification hours, while improving their professional knowledge around safety. There was hands-on equipment demonstrations and networking with exhibitors and fellow attendees. Also our keynote speaker, Michael Donlon PE, CSP, the Chief Safety Officer with the California Department of Water Resources (DWR) in Sacramento, discussed events leading to the Oroville Dam Crisis and the roll of DWR in the stabilization and recovery. Please feel free to download and view presentations from this event.
